A Baby Shower For a Special Princess
My gorgeous friend had her first child a couple of months ago, and I was honoured to have been able to put a small shower to welcome her little princess into the world. Its always difficult to come up with fun things that have not been over done when it comes to showers, especially when Mom to be favourite is pink and she is have a little girl. But I think we were able to put together something fresh and elegant. Once again, my good friends at Licorish came to the party, we were able to host the shower at their premises in Nicolway. We had a lovely brunch, and they put together a lovely menu for the ladies.
Always ensure that the food is the best quality, and is enjoyable and well presented, this way your guests (especially if they are paying for the meal) will feel like they are getting great value for their money. We included cute Pink lemonade, as the welcome drink in the nominal fee (less than R100) for the brunch.
For the Décor elements, by making use of seasonal flowers and basic lace, we were able to create
Since the shower was not a complete surprise, we managed to get our hands on some of the little princess 3D scans, which we use as part of the décor elements. These were printed on translucent pink paper, and then framed with vintage lace.
The center piece of the day was certainly the cake, which was this adorable red velvet elephant
For games that are easy, and don't require extra space, we did baby scrabble and a fun word search, with prizes for the winners.
