Breakfast at Tiffany's Brunch

I have been terrible at writing and maintaining my blog, and I just feel awful about it. I promise I am working on it, and hopefully the new system will work better for me...

Anyway, when I turned 29, such a random number right? Well random or not, I knew that I wanted to have personal catch up session with some of my girlfriends. I decided on hosting a Breakfast at Tiffany's themed brunch at the wonderful Licorish Restaurant in Nicolway shopping centre Bryanston.

For the flower arrangements, I picked up some sprays and fillers from the Spar around the corner from my place and added one prominent "expensive" looking flower to add some splash.  I then added some Ostrich feathers to the flowers for that extra pzazz. The ribbon around the vases added that extra special touch, at minimal cost.

I always love making my guest feeling special and that is why it important to me to add that personal touch

Licorish did not disappoint, they prepared deliciously fresh food, and by far the most popular dish ordered by the ladies was the Eggs Benedict, and it was absolutely sublime. I must say what made it taste better, was knowing that none of their breakfast dishes cost more than R70, and that is fabulousity at its best!

I always try carry through my theme/inspiration through all my party detail, just so everything is cohesive

I had a lovely morning with my beautiful friends...
