A little more wine....

Some great finds....

In as much as I love to bake, I don't have much of a sweet tooth- but Turkish delights is something I can never say no to.  So when Two Oceans combined two of my greatest loves at the Soweto Wine Festival, I was thrilled!   The Two Oceans Quay is a light "grape beverage" that is low in alcohol and Kilojoules.  This is a great wine to share in the summer, with refreshing berry aromas and delightful sensation of candy floss and Turkish delight- its a sure way to impress your guests.

A true delight
Please buy yourself some Turkish delights, and serve it with this one.  Literally take a bite of your Turkish delight, chew for a few seconds then take a sip of the wine... And enjoy the dance of flavours. Get more information on this great wine

Now the house of J.C. Le Roux has certainly upped the anti...Personally I had always found their sparkling wines just too sweet for my taste buds- the kind of sweetness that screams "headache tomorrow".  Well they now have a Methode cap classique range.  I am truly loving both the La Vallee Rose and La Vallee.

A little bubbly

The Rose is made of 100% of the pinot noir grape, suits all palates and has a great explosion of delicious fruits. Its fresh and great for any celebration, for a little something extra, add some raspberries to the bottom of each glass. Read more on these sparkling wine

The light yellow-gold hue of the La Vallee is well complemented by creamy buttery tones and the off-dry palate adds another dimension of complexity. The fresh and fruity style of the wine brings out the lightness of this MCC with hints of pears, litchis and primary fruit.
